best partner for sustainability
Our Route Towards Net-Zero Emissions

The decarbonization of the construction sector is only possible if the entire value chain commits to it. By working together, we can create real impact and achieve significant reductions in carbon emissions.
Our customer promise is to be the best partner for sustainability, not only with the solutions we offer, but also through how we operate. Reducing CO2 emissions is at the core of Hilti’s sustainability strategy. We want to decarbonize across the value chain and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
Milestones on Our Journey
At the end of 2023, we reached CO2 neutrality in our own operations.
In 2024, we reached our next milestone. The Science Based Targets initiative validated our ambitious sustainability goals. We have set a near-term target of reducing 50 percent of our Scope 1 and 2 emissions, and 30 percent of Scope 3 emissions, by 2032. Our long-term target is achieving net-zero by 2050.
