Hilti’s Integrated Project Solutions
Hilti supports the grid connections for the TenneT project – offshore converter stations, 525 kilovolt high-voltage direct current cable systems, and onshore converter stations – with modular cable management systems, designed directly into the project’s 3D models and prefabricated for fast, efficient installation.
The Hilti solution integrates seamlessly into the customer’s workflow, saving time and increasing efficiency. It includes value engineering in the early design phase to reduce material usage and engineering time, innovative fastening technology to avoid welding, and prefabricated modular support systems for fast installation. In fact, Hilti’s solution can reduce installation time by up to 60 percent, lower carbon emissions by around 40 percent, and improve on-site safety by cutting hot work by over 80 percent.

For this project, Hilti has mobilized over 200 team members from Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, the United Kingdom, India, China, and South Korea, working alongside the TenneT consortia, demonstrating the power of early integration, on-site support, and seamless collaboration to deliver successful outcomes.
